Canada offers protection to people who meet the refugee definition or who face torture or cruel treatment. Inland claims proceed at the Refugee Protection Division. The Basis of Claim form and country-condition evidence are the file. We prepare claims and hearings. We do not guarantee a grant of protection, and we do not discuss success rates on this page.

Confidential intake
We assess eligibility (including safe-third-country and other bars) and whether a claim, an H&C, or another route is the honest file.

BOC and evidence
We draft the Basis of Claim so dates, names, and fear are consistent, and we gather documents that an RPD member can use.

Hearing
We prepare you for questions on identity, credibility, and country conditions — not a scripted speech.

After the decision
If protection is granted, we move to permanent residence. If it is refused, we diary RAD or judicial-review deadlines immediately.

- Presence in Canada for an inland claim (or a sponsorship path for refugees abroad)
- Identity documents as far as they can be obtained
- Eligibility — not every person at a port of entry can claim
